Special thanks to Ed (or Mr. Ed as the students call him) for volunteering as a tutor twice
a week after school to help with spelling and English.   Here he is seen with Richard and Ryan.

Be sure to check out the photo page to see more pictures of our trip to Peace Museum in Dayton.  What a great trip!

With some help from my dad, students in eighth grade will be creating their own businesses.  They will write about topics and careers they are interested in and why.  They will also be pushed to explore what they enjoy and are good at doing and figure out a way to use their special talents in a possible career.

They will be writing and researching about how to write a brief business plan and letter and also create their own logo and letterhead.  Students can also look forward to a few visits from some local, interesting people to speak to the class about different careers.

Grammar lessons for the third quarter:

Verbs
