I am currently in my ninth year of teaching at Precious Blood School. I taught 5th grade for two years, and and in my 7th year as the school's Intervention Specialist. I graduated from The University of Toledo in 1997 with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. I completed my Intervention Specialist coursework at The University of Dayton in 2005. I am (slowly) finishing my coursework to complete my master’s degree.
When
I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with family & friends, taking
walks, traveling, and reading. I also work at Sylvan Learning Center a
few evenings a week. I have been married to my husband, Curt, since
2000. Kathleen and Cara are our “girls” and are my faithful traveling
companions. Molly (my dog) and Andy & Chip (my cats) complete the
members of my family.
