students of Precious Blood Catholic School
Hello! My
name is Kelly Karp, and I am a senior Intervention Specialist major at
the University of Dayton. As I am in my last semester at UD, I am
currently working on my student teaching internship, and I have been
very fortunate to have been placed here at Precious Blood School. I am
further blessed to have Tiffany Long as my clinical educator. I have
spent the last week meeting this school’s wonderful faculty and
students, and have been thoroughly excited and impressed with my
experience so far.
Over the next
few weeks, I will be ‘taking over’ Mrs. Long’s class sections. This
involved planning and executing the units, giving and grading homework,
and tracking grades and goals. I will also have the opportunity to be
involved with your conferences with Mrs. Long. My contact information
will be posted on the PB website, along with this letter. Finally, I
will be attending Family Math Night / Open House on Monday February 1st,
and I would love to meet you!
I want to
thank you for allowing your families to be an integral part of my
student teaching experience here at PB, where I have already received
such a warm welcome. I am very much looking forward to working with, as
well as learning from, both the staff and the students.
